Charlotte Transgender Day of Visibility 2017

Transgender Day of Visibility is happening March 31st. This year The Freedom Center for Social Justice is organizing an event to celebrate what it means to be transgender.

We will have food, music, an open mic, video, and merriment. This event is open to Transgender/Queer folks and their accomplices. This will be a safe space.

The International TDoV is an annual holiday celebrated around the world. The day is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and victories of transgender & gender non-conforming people while raising awareness of the work that is still needed to save trans lives. The holiday was founded in 2009 as a reaction to the lack of LGBT holidays celebrating transgender people’s successes. More information at TDOV.org.
