Freedom School

Emergent Savannah and Step Up Savannah are proud to help host the ACLU of Georgia as they present Freedom School: an opportunity and training for members of the public to learn how to protect civil rights and fight back on undemocratic policies. 

Whether you’re a seasoned activist or a first-time volunteer, this intensive half-day training is a great opportunity to hone your skills, connect with like-minded Georgians, and learn about the ways you can promote justice and equality for all.
