Southern Oregonians: Our healthcare is at risk!
1) Our district 2 Representative, Greg Walden, is leading the charge for repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
2) Over 1000 Jackson County residents who receive services from Jackson County Mental Health are to be transitioned to Options of Southern Oregon by April 1st. Options has no physical infrastructure in Jackson County. No transition plan has been presented to clients or providers of care. Mental health providers are at risk of losing their jobs and are preemptively leaving our community by the dozens.
Let's show the Oregon Health Authority, the CCOs and Greg Walden that the citizens of Jackson County will not stand for lower quality healthcare or less access to care!
Let's demand to see a transition plan from AllCare regarding the mental health transition!
We will march from the Ashland Public Library to the Plaza. Local healthcare providers and recipients will be invited to share their healthcare stories.
