Trump supporters are planning a nationwide "Make America Great Again" march on March 25th. After half a millenium of slavery, genocide and war, we know that America was never "great" for most Americans, and that the "greatness" they're referencing is the time before civil rights. They have specified that they will meet in front of the "Civil War Monument." There was no civil war battle in Colorado. That statue commemerates the Sand Creek Massacre, which killed 150 Native American villagers. Calling everyone who want to take a stand against the hate that is mascarading as normal party politics! By now it is obvious that any legitimacy to Trump's agenda was a lie, and the pro working class facade has fallen away to reveal that the only promises he plans to keep are the ones that hurt society the most. Those that encourage the hate and fear the ultimately divide the working class! We shall not stand idly while his supporters take the street in support of his vulgar leadership and operations. Let's show those who believe their hate has presidential mandate that it does not have the support of society, that it will not go unconfronted or uncontested. Let's show them that they are few, and we are many. All of us, many colors, sexual orientations, national backgrounds, politics, immigrants, we all stand together to oppose our common enemy: white nationalism. We see them all for what they are. Goal: Obstruct! Surround! Immobilize! We will descend upon them and block their march. Be prepared, expect to hear all the most vulgar garbage hurled at us. Be prepared to stand your ground in solidarity with those kidnapped immigrants. With those refugees turned away from safety. With all those who will face imprisonment, danger or even death under this regime as a direct consequence of policy. We stand to block these marchers in the same way that we stand to block these policies. They will be surrounded and left only with the opportunity to go back to where they came. What we want: Brave people, ready to stand strong. Signs, songs, voices. People who will not give way to the baiting and harassment that we are sure to face while we rain on their parade. We need brave, disciplined people to hold the front line, ideally with deescalation and conflict management training. They shall not pass!
