The current federal budget proposes drastic cuts to the US Environmental Protection Agency. Critical programs such as the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative could be eliminated completely. Join us for a roundtable discussion about the importance of EPA programs to Northeast Ohio and the Great Lakes Region, and the impacts that could result if funding is slashed. Speakers will include Nicole Cantello, Chief Steward for AFGE Local 704, representing more than 1,000 EPA employees from our region; local public health and business leaders from the Cleveland area.
