Thursday April 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. will be a protest outside of Potomac National Stadium. It is their season opener. PNATS are one of Corey Stewart’s biggest donors. Stewart is a big supporter of ICE presence in Prince William County and wants to racially profile and drive out Latino Immigrants from our county.
Immigrants make a sacrifice to improve their lives and migrate to the United States. In order to honor their sacrifice, on the morning of the protest some of plan to start walking at 10 a.m. from Manassas Battlefield located 16 miles away from PNATS stadium. We will meet protesters at 5:30 p.m. at the stadium. You are more than welcome to join the walk.
We want to send a message that we stand with our immigrant neighbors and friends. We will resist divisive policies that unfairly target residents of our county.
We have a simple demand: To have county officials, law enforcement and the jail-- BREAK all ties with ICE.
