Stand Up: Self-Defense/Bystander Intervention Training

In the past year, there has been a significant spike in hate crimes targeting Muslim Americans, immigrants, people of color, and the LGBTQ community, with hate activity remaining above pre-election levels.

We are partnering with the Arab American Association of New York to provide this training to community members to help them be vigilant about their own safety as well as that of other community members who may be vulnerable to intimidation and harassment in public spaces based on their race/ethnicity, immigration status, or sexual orientation.
