Join us in Indianapolis (if you can't make it to DC) to honor the Global call to Action by Indigenous leadership to carry the message of Standing Rock out to the world.
We will gather at 4pm Friday March 10th on the south lawn of the Indiana Statehouse in solidarity with the spirit of Standing Rock.
We gather with a mindset of respect for one another and for the natural world in which we depend on for life.
We gather in the spirit of prayer.
- Bring your drum, song, dance, story, signs/banners with messages of solution
--------------------------
We cannot sit by as our grandmothers & grandfathers, brothers & sisters, aunts & uncles who are out there right now, across this continent, fightingfor ALL OF OUR rights to clean water, air, & land.
Who are dedicated to prayer and peaceful influence........ are being shot, maced, threatened, bullied, arrested, dis-respected, and beat up for practicing their right of free speech and taking action and responsibility to stop these decisions being taken by corporations and government administrations that are and will increasingly wreck the land of our continent for ourselves and future generations!!....
WE MUST STAND!
So we We WILL Stand to honor the Water Protectors who are actively serving around the country to protect our waters and help the masses awaken to the environmental destruction many of these fossil fuel infrastructure projects are having on our water, land, air, and climate.
--------------------------
We cannot sit by with the awareness we now possess about the social injustices that are and have been occurring to the indigenous peoples in the name of profit for corporate and govenrmental functions and greed. Treaties have and are continuing more often to be broken for the profit of a very few. The new administration aims to pass legislature to privitize Indiana treaty land, essentially legally dissolving all of the treaties and ending this legal battle for the US. WE MUST STAND!
So, We WILL Stand to honor the treaties that have been made with the indigenous peoples of North America. These treaties have been broken and abused time and time again. We stand behind the treaties. We stand demand that treaties be honored.
--------------------------
We cannot make a difference if we exist so seperately. At this gathering, we will hold the intention to take this time while we are all together, to network. To look around you at your allies and make connections. To skip through the small talk and get to the point.
Take the time to ask and listen to one another's stories. To find out what other people are doing to make a difference. To find out what places, events, practices, people are doing locally to heal themselves, their families, their communities, their environment.
Take this time while we are together to make friends. To weave our spirits together. To form connections so we can ultimately have an increased power and potential as a collective.
There is strength in unity. And a healthy natural/balanced world is the key to a healthy/blaanced people. This is the spirit of, the lesson, and the root message that Standing Rock has brought to the surface and has now asked us to carry out and establish in our local communities across the world.
So, this is it. This is where we begin to continue that work. To grow that spirit. To nurture and grow our new community of a people united in the spirit of nature.
There will be a series of speakers presenting:
- The most update to date reports on Standing Rock
- Talk about what we do now
- Present local environmental issues that need our support and way to get involved.

"The drinking water of millions of Americans is now at risk. We are a sovereign nation and we will fight to protect our water and sacred places from the brazen private interests trying to push this pipeline through to benefit a few wealthy Americans with financial ties to the Trump administration," said Dave Archambault II, chairman of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.
"Americans have come together in support of the Tribe asking for a fair, balanced and lawful pipeline process. The environmental impact statement was wrongfully terminated. This pipeline was unfairly rerouted across our treaty lands. The Trump administration — yet again — is poised to set a precedent that defies the law and the will of Americans and our allies around the world."
There is also a National march on Washington DC scheduled for this day as well. If you can make it there to join those masses, please do. Otherwise, we are offering a local way for you to be involved!
